On 7 February 2026, we were in Almeida for another technical event dedicated to beef cattle production. Around 40 producers joined us for a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge, learn and discuss the current challenges facing the sector.
The event was organised in partnership with the Almeida Cooperative (Fortaleza), whom we would like to thank for their collaboration and involvement.
The programme included:
💧 A presentation by DIN – Desenvolvimento e Inovação Nutricional on the importance of water quality in livestock performance — a factor that is often underestimated but plays a crucial role in production efficiency.
🥩 Two technical sessions focused on production efficiency in beef cattle, comparing different feeding programmes and their impact on performance, feed conversion and profitability.
In a context where every kg produced counts, discussing tailored, data-driven feeding strategies is essential to achieving greater and more efficient production.
