Matosmix shares knowledge with UTAD

Last week, our Product Manager, Sara Carvalho Garcia, was invited by the Animal Science and Animal Engineering Students’ Association at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD) to lead a session on “Innovations in Ruminant Nutrition.”

During the session, several topics were explored, including precision nutrition and the integration of smart sensors, the role of the rumen microbiome, the use of agro-industrial co-products, and the challenges of sustainability. It was an opportunity to show future professionals how innovation can be a real driver of efficiency, competitiveness and positive impact.

We would like to thank UTAD for the invitation and the students for their active participation. It is always a privilege to contribute to the education and development of the next generation of animal science professionals.
