Matosmix strengthens its connection with traditional poultry farming

On 30 May, Matosmix attended the 1st edition of Conversas de Capoeiro and “Luta de Galos”, held at ANGRA’s headquarters in Amares.

With engaging discussions, knowledge sharing and a shared passion for traditional poultry farming, the event provided an excellent opportunity to connect with breeders, technicians and enthusiasts who work every day to preserve Portugal’s native chicken breeds.

We would like to thank ANGRA – Galinhas Raças Autóctones and APEZ for organising the event and for encouraging dialogue among the various stakeholders in the sector.

A special mention goes to all the breeders who brought their birds to the competition, travelling from across the country to showcase the very best of Portugal’s native chicken breeds.
