Matosmix – Nutrição Animal, S.A. announces that it is the owner of a national trademark that is clearly likely to cause confusion with the trademark of the new “fast food” chain called Vkusno & Tochaka, which is opening locations in various cities across Russia as a replacement for McDonald’s.
Matosmix is a Portuguese company with 24 years of experience, dedicated to the production of compound and complete animal feed under the Prestigium and Matosmix brands, the latter of which has been registered since 2021.
Motivated by the release of the new “fast food” chain’s logo, which bears a striking resemblance to the Matosmix logo, as well as our belief that this undermines its distinctiveness, we consider it essential to inform you that Matosmix’s legal department will examine possible courses of action to take in this situation.
We would also like to emphasize that Matosmix rejects any and all association with the ongoing armed conflict, as we believe that a wide range of fundamental rights and freedoms are being undermined.
